Bonnie has written professionally in nearly every entertainment medium from feature films to television and theater. Her strength is feature films, where she began as a development exec for features at Universal for four years, leaving to write the original script to Disney’s TRON, and continuing to spec screenplay scripts on and off ever since, all of which have been sold or optioned.

In theater, she wrote, produced, and directed HOT ROLES, a musical revue which enjoyed a long Los Angeles run and excellent notices, and more recently, THE MAINE MAN, a one act seen last year at the Noho Arts Center.

For ten years, as president of CREATIVE LICENSE, a LA based production company, she wrote every film the company produced, for a range of work from warm “people stories” for high tech companies, network feature segments on LA characters, a stage musical on the history of computers, and a scripted comedy for Prudential Realty which was first runner up for the John Cleese comedy award. Other awards for her writing include 11 Cine Golden Eagles and two LA Emmy’s and numerous other awards at the national level.

She teaches screenwriting at UCLA extension (see link) . As a writer, her strengths are comedy, mystery, science fiction, and character- driven stories. She is an avid Sherlock Holmes fan.
